Out of Touch: When Asked if Obama Should Pardon Hillary, Pelosi Said, ‘For What?’

Yeah, it’s time to change the guard.

It took only one question to utterly expose just how out-of-touch our nation’s leaders are and why term limits are such a good idea.

The Daily Caller asked House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi if she feels President Obama should give Hillary Clinton a preemptive pardon before he leaves office. Here’s her clueless response:

“I don’t even know about that. Pardon her for what? I don’t have the faintest idea what you’re talking about. I mean I just don’t know. I don’t know what he would pardon her for. For what? I’m sorry. That just doesn’t make any sense to me.”

It’s common knowledge that Washington D.C. is a bubble, but it’s hard to believe the congresswoman is that oblivious to the e-mail server full of scandals Clinton orchestrated.

Meanwhile, Jesse Jackson believes a preemptive pardon is a good idea and called on Obama to do just that:

“Secretary Clinton has not been legally accused, indicted, tried or convicted of anything. It would be a monumental, moral and political mistake to pursue the prosecution of Hillary Clinton.

“President Obama should follow President Ford’s example and offer a preemptive full pardon [like he did with Nixon].”

As The DC noted, Trump has perhaps softened on his debate promise to assemble a team of special prosecutors to go after Clinton. Speaking to The Wall Street Journal recently, he implied that he’s on to bigger and better things:

“It’s not something I’ve given a lot of thought, because I want to solve healthcare, jobs, border control, tax reform.”

As TruthRevolt previously reported, Rep. Pelosi delayed the leadership vote scheduled for Thursday until the end of November. Though the reason given was so Democrats could assess how to move forward after losing to Donald Trump, Pelosi indicated she wants to stay. Eyeing the 14-year House Dem leader’s job is Rep. Tim Ryan, 43, who thinks a change could bring Democrats out of the “political wilderness.” Other Dems agree, saying, “We need people who can learn new tricks and not do things the way they have been done that last 20 or 30 years."

If Ryan is voted in, it’s assumed when Pelosi is told she has to leave, she will reply, “I don’t have the faintest idea what you’re talking about. For what?”
