MSNBC Primetime Ignores Secret Iran Deal

Despite the secret deal with Iran being a major news story on Tuesday for three hours MSNBC hosts ignored it.

During three hours of MSNBC's primetime lineup there was no mention of the Obama administration's secret side deal with Iran. Ed Schultz, Al Sharpton and Chris Matthews, whose shows air from 5-7PM EST, talked wall-to-wall about New Jersey Republican Governor Chris Christie's "Bridgegate" scandal.
Schultz even found a way to bring up the minimum wage and unemployment benefits while bashing the GOP governor.
Sharpton briefly mentioned Benghazi but did not say in his coverage that top military brass briefed President Obama on a "terror attack" and not the alleged YouTube video that then Sec. of State Hillary Clinton told the victim's families was the cause of the assault on the US Embassy.
Matthews waited until his "Let me Finish" segment before bringing up Iran, and then he used the segment to blame Republicans for "undermining" the Kerry/Obama negotiations. Matthews said,
I'm deeply concerned at the opposition led by Republicans in the Congress to the current effort to avoid a third and far more dangerous war in the Islamic world.
Matthews continued by saying President Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry were "working hard" and are "determined" not to allow Iran to build a nuclear weapon.
