Congressional Hopeful Shoots Down Government Drone in New Ad

"I'm ready to stand tall for freedom and get Washington out of our lives."

Matt Rosendale, a congressional hopeful in Montana, takes aim at government spying by shooting down a drone in a new ad

The video shows the Republican hopeful through the eyes of a drone, standing to the side of an ATV and wearing a barn jacket, all the while holding a rifle. He says,

I’m Matt Rosendale and this is how I'd look like from a government drone.

A quick cut to ground level and Rosendale says, “And this is what I think of it,” before coolly lifting the rifle, taking aim, and shooting it down.

The federal government is too big and too powerful. More taxes and Regulations put Montana families out of work. Spying on our citizens, that’s just wrong. I'm ready to stand tall for freedom and get Washington out of our lives.

Rosendale is part of a five-way race being waged over a vacant congressional seat in Montana, a state which doesn't allow government drones to watch citizens unless a warrant is issued. Like the other candidates, Rosendale is attempting to find a means of stand out from the field. Mission accomplished.
