Chris Wallace Re-signs With Fox News

Host of Fox News Sunday and the son of legendary newsman Mike Wallace has re-signed with FNC

Chris Wallace, entering his 50th year in the broadcasting industry and his 11th year with the Fox News Channel, has just signed a contract to stay with the successful news network. Wallace, the host of Fox News Sunday, said in a statement Thursday that his time at the helm of the Sunday news hour has been a highlight of his career. 

Fox News Chairman Roger Ailes, recently named by The Hollywood Reporter as one of the top 37 most influential people in New York media, said of Wallace,

Chris is a renowned journalist whose hard-hitting interviews and lifetime of dedication to the news have established him as one of the best in the industry. We are pleased he will continue his exceptional work on Fox News for years to come.

Wallace regularly interviews the biggest news makers, politicians and business influencers in the United States. His show typically draws over one million viewers with a third of his audience being in the sponsor-friendly 25-54 demo. His father, Mike Wallace worked in the broadcast news industry for almost 70 years and interviewed many notable and sometimes infamous world figures.
