In the current and very heated debate over healthcare reform, Democrats love to tout their endless compassion for the sick and the dying, unless, of course, that’s experienced by Republicans.
As TruthRevolt previously reported, GOP Rep. Tom MacArthur was berated for nearly 10 minutes at a town hall for mentioning his daughter’s confinement to a wheelchair and eventual removal from life support at age 11 and how that experience shaped how he would govern when it comes to healthcare. But now, another example has come along.
Illinois Congressman Rodney Davis faced liberal protesters outside of his office demanding he hold a town hall to answer their concerns about healthcare. With activists recording the encounter, Davis began to speak about his wife’s cancer and was interrupted by an audible “ugh” from someone in the crowd. It was clear the protesters were not there to have a discussion but to heckle and mock the Republican. Watch below, and notice how the attitude is, “Sure, sorry about your wife, but what about me?:”
And here's video of MacArthur's town hall with liberals yelling "shame" when talking about his deceased daughter:
