The mockery of MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow continues because her giant fail deserves every last drop.

The latest is courtesy of Stephen Colbert, who ruthlessly skewered Maddow in a sketch for the Late Show on CBS. In perfect Maddow form, Colbert, dressed like the host, holds an important sheet in his hand containing a joke that “has been heard by Donald Trump.” He spends the entire bit ramping up to the big reveal in the same way Maddow rambled for 20 minutes trying to make imaginary connections before revealing she had nothing: tax returns from 2005 that had already been made public.

Not only was Maddow’s popcorn-worthy moment entertaining as it happened, it has been equally enjoyable watching the Left eat one of its own.
