Pelosi Confident in Obama Saying ISIS 'Contained'

The president should know better than anybody, right?

During her weekly press briefing Thursday, Sen. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) was asked if President Obama's assessment of ISIS being "contained" is a correct one, especially since after uttering those words, ISIS launched a brutal attack on Paris. But Pelosi remained confident that Obama knows best.

"We are prepared to defeat ISIS by any definition,” Pelosi said, in transcript by The Washington Free Beacon. “The president has engaged with more than 65 other countries to defeat ISIS. The president knows better than any of us the threat that they pose to the security of the world and to the American people. So I have confidence in the president’s take on what is out there.”

Apparently, Pelosi doesn't speak much with her colleague Sen. Dianne Feinstein who believes quite the opposite. From TruthRevolt's Brian Lilley:

"I’ve never been more concerned," the senior senator from California told MSNBC Monday. "I read the intelligence faithfully. ISIL is not contained. ISIL is expanding."

Ah, she reads the intelligence. Obama doesn't. I can't believe I'm going to say this, but Mrs. Pelosi, it'd be better to trust Dianne on this one.
