Attkisson: Insiders Say Obama Has 'Closed His Mind' to Terror Intelligence

And in some instances, won't even read it.

Appearing on the Steve Malzberg Show Wednesday, investigative reporter Sharyl Attkisson dropped a bombshell claim coming from inside the Obama administration that, if true, would explain the president's blasé attitude towards Islamic terrorism.

Malzberg asked what his veteran reporter guest thought of Obama's indifferent response to the Paris attacks. She said:

I have talked to people who have worked in the Obama administration who firmly believe he has made up his mind... closed his mind, they say, to their intelligence that they've tried to bring him about various groups that he does not consider terrorists, even if they're on the U.S. list of designated terrorists. He has his own ideas and there are those who have known him a long time who say this dates back to law school. He does not necessarily -- you may think this is a good trait, you may think it's a bad trait -- he does not necessarily listen to the people with whom he disagrees. He seems to dig in and you know, that would be, I suppose, he would say because he thinks he's right. So, yes, he is facing formidable opposition on this particular point.

Malzberg added that Obama's habit during periods of pushback is to invoke "everyone" as believing the way he does -- a desperate tactic, indeed.

Atkisson couldn't come up with a reasonable explanation of why he would be closed off from hearing terror intelligence, she could only speak on behalf of those insiders who "allegedly" presented him certain intelligence and noted his disregard.

"They've said, he doesn't want it, or he won't read it in some instances," Attkisson said.
