The male/female comedy duo known as RosaBaby just released its latest sketch in the form of a horror trailer parody for a movie they call The Republican. The pair play a couple in a new relationship that quickly turns sour as she realizes he is a conservative.
One of the girl’s friends finds his Facebook profile and warns her about what she saw: he had an American flag backdrop, he’s seen in a picture holding Mitt Romney’s book, he has shared Breitbart stories, and all his past girlfriends were “radical liberals.”
“And now… they’re not,” the friend said.
The girlfriend is raiding her boyfriend’s bookshelf and finds Bill O’Reilly’s Culture Warrior and Donald Trump’s Art of the Deal when the boyfriend suddenly appears behind her and asks her what she’s doing. It all goes downhill from there, as the man now constantly appears behind her in ever more menacing poses.
He’s also wearing an “all lives matter” T-shirt and gets increasingly angry and violent as she finds his “Make America Great Again” hat and he finally attacks her inside a dark closet.
Sure, it’s done in good fun and it’s actually pretty well-made. But why bother with fiction when the real life horror movie of how the violent Left behaves plays out almost daily right in front of us?
