O'Reilly: Leftist Media Helping Obama Cover Up VA Scandal

"The far left zealots at MSNBC simply don't care."

In his continuing coverage of the VA waiting list scandal, Bill O'Reilly condemned the left for putting the politics of protecting Obama ahead of protecting veterans.

"Even Americans who support him are vastly disappointed that our American military people are apparently not getting first class treatment at the VA," he said in Thursday's "Talking Points Memo."

Adding that the VA scandal comes after the IRS scandal, the Benghazi cover-up, the Fast and Furious operation and the disaster of ObamaCare, he said that the left had deflected the outrage over all of these, but even it is having trouble defending the VA debacle. "Hard," he added, "but not impossible."

O'Reilly condemned the New York Times for downplaying the story and the Washington Post for accusing Republicans of politicizing it.

“There are allegations that veterans died in Phoenix because of bad VA policy, and that was covered up. Those allegations from doctors, from whistleblowers inside," O'Reilly countered. "That’s not a political football. That’s a disgrace.”

"The far left zealots at MSNBC simply don't care."

O'Reilly predicted that Obama's approval ratings would fall below 40 percent as a result of these scandals.
