Today in Israel there was a wave of stabbing attacks which saw seven Israelis wounded by Palestinian Arab attackers, in a continuation of the violence which has engulfed the region in recent days. In cities throughout the country, from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, the northern city of Afula and elsewhere, Israelis today have been under attack for the crime of living as Jews.
Last week, an American couple - Rabbi Eitan Henkin and his wife Naama, both in their 30s - were murdered by Palestinian terrorists in a drive-by shooting in violence which was encouraged during a visit to the United Nations by Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas. Abbas declared in a speech to the United Nations General Assembly that the Oslo Peace Accords with Israel are abrogated – and since then Israel has been under attack.
The blame for this violence lays at the feet of Abbas - and Israel is right to take every single possible action against the terrorists harming the Jewish state.
And lest one forget, the enemies of Israel are the enemies of America.
Shockingly, an American Jewish extremist organization’s leaders has claimed that the Israelis are the real terrorists in this conflict.
Amiram Goldblum, a member of the board of the International council of The New Israel Fund declared on Facebook as a response to the murder of Eitam and Na’ama Heinkin:
“Would someone brave propose a law that forbids raising children in settlements? All settlements are acts of terror, all adult settlers are soldiers of this terrorism, and the heart aches because children are being raised into this world of terrorism, with intent and bloodlust.
…Jewish religion destroys us all – just like it helped Hitler to destroy the Jews of Europe.”
The New Israel Fund has leaders declaring that “…Jewish religion destroys us all – just like it helped Hitler to destroy the Jews of Europe..” – and despite that their donors donate $30 million, including high-profile Jews such as Alisa Doctoroff, President of UJA-Federation, Karen R. Adler of The Jewish Communal Fund, and Sears heir Peter Ascoli.
Their support of terrorists is not limited to this one occasion. Michael Sfard, a human-rights attorney for a number of organizations that are funded by the New Israel Fund, including Yesh Din, Breaking the Silence, and Al-Haq, testified as an expert witness for the PLO earlier in New York this year at a trial which found that the Palestinian Authority (PA) and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) were responsible for encouraging and inciting terror attacks during the Second Intifada. After weeks of trial, a New York jury found that both organizations supported international terrorism and 10 American families who had their loved ones murdered and maimed were awarded $655.5 Million.
