MSNBC is fast carving out a space for itself as the go-to network for sexism and name calling. On his Monday broadcast, host Ed Schultz referred to Fox News's Steve Doocy as "Steve Douchey."

Discussing criticism of President Obama's peace-in-our-time appeasement of Iran's nuclear ambitions, Schultz quoted House Intellegence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers' view that "it's almost like it's a deal just to get a deal." Schultz mocked the idea that the President's forfeiting of the upper hand in Iran could be in any way politically motivated, suggesting that the fact that the "Obamacare website's a little bit slow" is hardly cause for desperate action by the administration.

Of course, the problems with HealthCare.gov are hardly limited to the website's speed. Five million Americans have already lost their coverage, and the president's approval ratings are in complete free-fall.

Still, Schultz's most outrageous comments were aimed at "the folks across the street."

Fox News Channel's Steve Douchey jumped on the Obamacare distraction band wagon. He wasted no time spreading the absurd idea.

A "douche," of course, is a form of vaginal irrigation, and the term "douchey" is most often used as an emasculating, and inherently anti-female, slur.

Schultz's remarks follow immediately on the heels of fellow MSNBC host Martin Bashir's sexist rant that someone should "p*ss" and "sh*t" in Sarah Palin's mouth.

So far, the network has not commented on either of these sexist statements by two of their most prominent hosts.

Something is wrong with the culture at MSNBC. In their unchecked tirades against conservatives, their inherent disdain for women is on full display.
