MSNBC Claims Need for ‘Truth Teller’ at All Trump Appearances: ‘Nothing He Says Is True’

"I mean, literally, I’ve never seen anything like it.”

On MSNBC's Deadline: White House Tuesday, Nicolle Wallace made a peculiar assertion. The host suggested the need for a "truth teller" at every Presidential appearance, in order to fight the "lies" of Donald J. Trump. Furthermore, in response to the President's press event with Stefan Lofven -- Prime Minister of Sweden -- Wallace absurdly offered, "Nothing he says is true." Expounding, the left-winger claimed:

“You know how there's always a signer at any event, someone signs for the deaf? I think there should be a truth teller in the corner of every Trump event who is sort of holding a scroll and sort of saying ‘lie.’”

Unbelievable.

Wallace cited the need for cards and lights to signal to the audience the rampant dishonesty coming from our President:

“You almost need the bottom third sort of with the flashing red light. ‘Nothing he says is true, nothing he says is true...Hold up the gymnastics scores. 'Lie.' I mean, literally, I’ve never seen anything like it.”

Wallace's outrageous excoriation is nothing new for MSNBC: during a broadcast last week, Stephanie Ruhle and Ali Velshi compared the "lying" President's February 23rd oration at the Conservative Political Action Conference to that of communist dictator Fidel Castro and brutal former Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

The irony of Wallace's claim -- like those by Ruhl and Velshi -- is that MSNBC is a leading purveyor of lies, which must constantly be covered by TruthRevolt. We are the truth teller, because MSNBC demands a need for one.

Below is a partial transcript of the broadcast.

WALLACE: You almost need, like, the bottom third sort of with the flashing red light. “Nothing he says is true, nothing he says is true.” We are not combating Russian meddling. He lied to a Swedish reporter today. I don't know if that ends up at the ICC or not. We are not some global leader in steel production. You looked it up, you know, before the show. We make five percent of the steel -- I mean, you know, the '80s are calling and they want all their political fights back.

...

WALLACE: You know how there's always a signer at any event, someone signs for the deaf? I think there should be a truth teller in the corner of every Trump event who is, you know, sort of holding a scroll and sort of saying ‘lie.’ Or, you know, like, he wants everything in handwriting. Hold up the gymnastics scores. Lie. I mean, literally, I’ve never seen anything like it!
