Ultra-left-wing MSNBC talking head Ali Velshi lost his mind over President Trump's speech today at Maryland's Conservative Political Action Conference. Assisting in his breakdown was fellow lefty Stephanie Ruhle. According to the outraged anchors, the President's "strange" oration replete with "lies" brought to mind evil dictators. Amid the hosts likening Trump to former Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and communist Cuba's brutal Fidel Castro, the President's presentation was labeled by Ruhle as "absurd across the board."
Lathered and blathering, Velshi claimed:
“There were a lot of lies in the speech...It was a remarkable speech. It was lie, to new topic, to another lie. It was a very strange speech.”
He continued, with incredible virulence and a completely insane comparison:
"A sprawling, truly sprawling, meandering speech by the President. The likes of which — I was saying to Stephanie — I'm used to having heard from Hugo Chavez or Fidel Castro or (Turkey president) Erdogan. President Putin gives something like this every year, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad used to give speeches like this."
Ruhle and Velshi may have been particularly riled by President Trump's singling out of the left-wing media, declaring:
"I want you all to know that we are fighting the fake news. It's fake, phony -- fake...They are the enemy of the people."
“Historically, the amount of lies the President has told -- and this administration -- over the last year...that is unprecedented.”
"There were a lot of lies," Velshi affirmed.
Of course, if Trump truly were another Erdogan, Castro, Putin, or Ahmadinejad, such media bias and antagonism wouldn't be allowed.
Below is a short montage of great clips from the President's speech. For those of you who are Adam Sandler fans, listen closely at the beginning for a hilarious shout of "You can do it!" from the crowd.
