It didn’t take long for newly-crowned Miss USA Kara McCullough to make an apology tour for promoting conservative ideas in her answers during the pageant. After knocking feminism and declaring health care a privilege on Sunday night and sending social justice warriors into a social media frenzy, McCullough was on Good Morning America by Tuesday morning “clarifying” what she meant.

"I am privileged to have health care and I do believe that it should be a right," the 25-year-old nuclear scientist told ABC's Michael Strahan. ”I hope and pray moving forward that health care is a right for all worldwide."

"I just want people to see where I was coming from. Having a job, I have to look at health care like it is a privilege,” McCullough added.

At the pageant, McCullough said she uses the term “equalism” instead of feminism and said she doesn’t consider herself a “die-hard, ‘Oh, I don’t really care about men’” kind of person. But McCullough assured she’s all about women’s issues and doesn’t want her anti-feminism comments to be misconstrued:

"For me, where I work at with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, ‘equalism’ is more of a term of understanding that no matter your gender, you are still just kind of given the same accolades on your work. I believe that if a person does a good job, they should be, you know, credited for that in a sense.

"I don’t want anyone to look at it as if I’m not all about women’s rights, because I am. We deserve a lot when it comes to opportunity in the workplace as well as just like leadership positions. I’ve seen and witnessed firsthand the impact that women have."

Her apology tour has garnered even more response on social media, but this time by those who applauded her initial comments. Now, they stand amazed McCullough so easily caved to leftist groupthink:
