On MSNBC's Morning Joe on Monday, Media Matters honcho David Brock was on to discuss his favorite topic, Hillary Clinton. That Brock and every website and project he touches are shameless Clinton propaganda machines is no secret. But even for a shill, the willful, on-air, laughable disregard of all facts he put on display during the above segment is surprising in its audacity. It is the kind of patter you only hear total true believers spout. 

As he often does, Brock refers to the scandals surrounding Hillary as "phony" and "fake." Granted, this type of deflection is a preferred tactic on the left. When you dismiss something out-of-hand as being totally fabricated you can dodge the details and inconvenient truths. But Brock takes it to dizzying new heights. More, from The Free Beacon:

"Are all the scandals involving the Clintons, quote, 'fake scandals'"? Scarborough asked.

"Yeah sure," Brock said. "I take you through each one in this book, and I’ve dealt with the ones from the '90s in prior books, as you know. Look, nothing's been found. These are nothing-burgers."

Among the enemies of his truth are such right-wing outfits as The New York Times, the FBI, and of course, the Obama administration, under whose watch the investigations are ongoing.

Nothing. Burgers.

The relentlessness of leftists in their pursuit of ignorance has always been fascinating. Whether it is willful disregard of the consequences of their social policies or something as simple as President Obama always claiming he hasn't heard about something yet because it is not big enough news, the Democrat party has a special affinity for factlessness to go along with their fecklessness. 

As a token Republican, Scarborough has had to listen to such nonsense and pablum from across the aisle countless times on his show. But leave it to David Brock to break the magnitude scale so thoroughly that even the leftward MSNBC morning show can't help but push back.
