HBO host and late-night comedian Bill Maher offered a little advice for future presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on Friday's Real Time: "Just go away."
Maher joined the mocking of Clinton for saying she and Bill left the White House "dead broke" and in debt. "When you emerge from the financial rut that is the U.S. presidency," Maher joked, "Talk about a red flag on a resume. When they see that -- that you ran the world for eight years -- nobody'll hire you."
Clinton has been busy with the release of her book "Hard Choices" and her subsequent book tour. Both have been disastrous. Add to that multiple media and television appearances and that overexposure prompts Maher to warn Clinton that she may be crossing the line into the land of "we're sick of you."
Here is Maher's advice:
My advice to Hillary -- just go away. Go away for a while. We’re gonna' see each other in a couple of years, a lot. Just go away, because otherwise, you’re going to blow this.
