Two of the three jihadists responsible for Saturday’s attacks in London have finally been identified. The third’s name is still being withheld.

Thirty-year-old Moroccan-Libyan Rachid Redouane (right) and 27-year-old Khuram Shazad Butt (left) were both killed by police after they murdered "infidels" for Allah:

Butt was the reported ringleader and, as usual, was known to police. According to the Daily Mail, “The London Bridge killer wearing an Arsenal shirt slipped through the net despite being reported to the police twice for extremism including trying to twist the minds of children he bribed with sweets and cash.”

Butt, or “Abz” as he was nicknamed, was turned in by a housewife who said she caught him talking to children at a park near a school and trying to “brainwash” them.

“They were waiting for the children of the neighborhood,” she said. “They would give the children chocolate while talking to them. They would pray in the park for hours.”

Fox News reports: “Butt came to Britain with his asylum-seeking parents and was believed to be married and the father of two young children. He also was thought to be responsible for a professional Internet profile listing past jobs such as working for a fast-food restaurant and the subway system.”

Butt was also featured in a 2015 Channel 4 documentary focused on jihadists in Britain called The Jihadis Next Door. He is seen praying with an ISIS flag in a park. He, along with other extremists, were detained by police for over an hour during filming but were later released. 

The Telegraph reports: “A former friend claimed Butt, who is understood to have worked for a fried chicken chain and for London Underground as a trainee customer services assistant for six months until October, had been radicalised after watching videos on YouTube. The friend said he contacted the authorities after becoming concerned over Butt’s obvious extremist views.”

In an even more concerning twist, WND is reporting that one of the jihadists was an ardent follower of an imam in Dearborn, Michigan — home of the largest Arab-American community in the U.S.:

[A] former friend of one of the three dead London suspects claimed one of the attackers had been radicalized while watching Dearborn cleric Ahmad Musa Jibril’s YouTube videos and said he contacted authorities after becoming concerned about his friend’s Islamist views.

The Telegraph described the Dearborn sheik as “infamous American hate preacher Ahmad Musa Jibril.”

The former friend of the London jihadist said: “We spoke about a particular attack that happened and like most radicals he had a justification for anything and everything and that day I realized I needed to contact the authorities.”

He added: “He used to listen to a lot of Musa Jibril. I have heard some of this stuff and its very radical. I am surprised this stuff is still on YouTube and is easily accessible. I phoned the anti-terror hotline. I spoke to the gentleman. I told him about our conversation and why I think he was radicalized.”

The suspected attacker was not arrested and was allowed to keep his passport. “I did my bit, I know a lot of other people did their bit, but the authorities did not do their bit,” the friend said.
