Hollywood Loses It Over Trump's Body-Slamming CNN Tweet

"A clearly diminished man.”

In reaction to Donald Trump tweeting a video of himself mock body-slamming WWE kingpin Vince McMahon with the CNN logo superimposed over his face, Hollywood celebrities from Seth Rogen to John Legend have perpetuated the laughable narrative that the President is calling for violence against the news media.

CNN itself insists the President's tweet “encourages violence against reporters.” “Clearly, Sarah Huckabee Sanders lied when she said the President had never done so. Instead of preparing for his overseas trip, his first meeting with Vladimir Putin, ‎dealing with North Korea and working on his health care bill, he is involved in juvenile behavior far below the dignity of his office,” a spokesperson for the network said in a statement. “We will keep doing our jobs. He should start doing his.”

Actor Will Poulter (we don't know who he is, either) called the tweet “terrifying,” while director Ava DuVernay said the tweet came from a “clearly diminished man.” More celebrity pearl-clutching below:
