Hillary Clinton received the worst news of her life on November 8th, 2016: she would not become the most powerful human being on the planet. While her hopes for the Oval Office were dashed against the rocks of reality, many in America were relieved: the former First Lady’s public life had been marred in scandal and corruption, more so than any other candidate in recent memory. Still, Clinton clung to her desperation for the presidency, initially refusing to make a concession speech, and bemoaning her plight for now almost a year through interviews and a dirge of a scapegoating memoir.  

But now, there is hope for the disgraced election-night silver medalist: October 31st — All Hallow’s Eve. On a night when Americans can be anyone they choose (except on the grounds of a public school or university), Bill’s wife can dress up and pretend she wasn’t bested by Donald J. Trump. According to The Hill, the Democrat -- as well-known for her crazy-face memes as her Chairman Mao suits -- joked Monday night that she may go as the president for Halloween.

During a Chicago event for her book What Happened, Clinton was asked of her plans for the spookiest night of the year. “I’ll maybe come as the president,” she reportedly responded.  

The national loser seems to have found a sense of humor about her defeat as of late. On the one-year anniversary of the campaign-crushing Grand Reopening of a probe into her private email server scandal, she tweeted, “Oh is that today?”

Perhaps she’ll have a similarly outgoing sense of humor on Halloween, and go as the President - Trump, that is. Because Hillary Clinton as President would be just another monster.
