CEO of Duck Commander Willie Robinson and his wife, Korie, helped surprise a family with the return of their husband, son and father on Friday at the Duck Commander warehouse in West Monroe, LA. With the aid of the Robertson clan, Master Sgt. Scott Schreck surprised his 10-year-old son Josh after 7 months away on deployment in Afghanistan. Josh thought he was getting out of school for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the popular TV show and one of the locations where many of the scenes are shot.
Sgt. Schreck has served in the Air Force for 19 years and awaited his son behind a door at the business. Both Willie and Korie tweeted their joyful tears after viewing the emotional family reunion. The Robertsons met Schreck while on a USO tour in Afghanistan last Christmas.
Korie Robertson Instagramed a picture of the happy family:
The message with the photo on Instagram said:
Exciting day today at DC warehouse!! We were honored to help surprise this little guy with his dad's homecoming! Master SGT Schreck has been away from his sweet family serving out country for 7 months! #blessedtobeapartofthis #notadryeyeinthewarehouse #thankyouforyourservice
The Robertsons said they had no idea how their involvement with the USO would affect people and claimed it was a great experience.
