She is one of the smartest and most beautiful people in television news, but according to Donald Trump, no one would want to woo such an average woman. Trump was responding on Twitter to comments that Fox New Host Megyn Kelly made to Vanity Fair about his attempts to "woo her."
Trump and Kelly have been locked in something of a feud since the Republican debate that Fox News hosted back in August. When Kelly asked Trump about some of his sexist comments from the past, he attacked her, something Vanity Fair journalist Evgenia Peretz noted:
When I remark to Kelly and her husband that Trump sounded like a jilted suitor after she asked her now famous sexism question, they share a knowing look, and Kelly proceeds cautiously. In the past, she says, “he would send me press clippings about me that he would just sign ‘Donald Trump.’ And he called from time to time to compliment a segment. I didn’t know why he was doing that. And then when he announced that he was running for president, it became more clear. But I can’t be wooed. I was never going to love him, and I was never going to hate him.”
Trump didn't like the comment apparently, taking to Twitter to call Kelly average and ask who would want to woo her.
.@megynkelly recently said that she can’t be wooed by Trump. She is so average in every way, who the hell wants to woo her!
