In the middle of Roger Goodell's NFL mea culpa press conference, the voice of what seemed like a deranged man started screaming, "What are you doing? Don't touch me... don't take me into an elevator...." Cameras cut to the man as he was pulled away by bodyguards. The incident was just another stunt by Benjy Bronk of the "Howard Stern Show," and the elevator line was a reference to the issue which started the NFL domestic violence scandal, the elevator video of Ray Rice punching and knocking out his wife.
This is not the first time Bronk has pranked a serious press conference. For example, during the 2011 press conference where Anthony Weiner announced his resignation because of a sexting scandal, the Howard Stern writer leaped up and shouted bawdy questions such as, "Were you fully erect," and “Will you maintain your hot physique and smooth sexy chest?" (see video below)
Stern always claims that Bronk never asks for permission, and he finds out about the pranks with everyone else. The self-proclaimed king of all media contends that if asked he wouldn't approve Bronk's pranks, but of course that never stops him from using them as good ratings generating radio material.
