Hillary Compares NRA 'Absolutism' to Stances of Communists and Iranians

"the real answer is for gun owners to form a different organization that... stands against the absolutism of the NRA.”

Yesterday in Iowa, Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton likened the National Rifle Association's pro-2nd Amendment stance to the hardline, intractable positions of “the Iranians and Communists.”

Breitbart reports that Clinton said,

"I also have said that I would take certain executive actions to close these loopholes. And it may be, because you know the White House has time ahead — it maybe be that the White House will want to do that. And I would be fully supportive of that, whatever we can do to send a message. Now the real answer to this is for gun owners to form a different organization that supports the Second Amendment, supports their rights to own guns, use guns, go hunting, goes target shooting, but stands against the absolutism of the NRA.”

By "absolutism," Hillary means that the NRA refuses to cave in to the gun confiscators.

Trying to paint the NRA as an enemy of America on the scale of Iran and Communism, she then added, “You know, the NRA’s position reminds me of negotiating with the Iranians or the Communists. You know there is no possible discussion and it’s for political purposes.”

Right. Because advocating for our natural rights is obviously unreasonable and purely political.
