With Wendy Davis trailing Greg Abbott by 11 points, the Davis campaign has turned to ‘Ted Nugent bashing’ in order to raise money.

In an email to supporters, Davis’ communications director, Bo Delp writes,

“Ordinarily, I wouldn't be one to go toe-to-toe with Ted Nugent. Frankly, I wouldn't even want to be in the same room as him.”

He goes on to write,

“Can't help but see it as our chance to show Nugent, and his buddy Greg Abbott, what real Texas values look like.”

While Ted Nugent has apologized for his comments he made, Wendy Davis and her campaign have decided to use the same type of hate speech that they say Nugent has used in order to ask for money.

He finishes off the email with

“We can show Greg Abbott that we're stronger than the disgusting values his campaign endorsed by showcasing Ted Nugent -- an admitted sexual predator.”

So much for values.
