Mediaite obtained behind-the-scenes footage of MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell coming completely unhinged and yelling at his television crew for making noise in his earpiece and because somewhere, someone was hammering.

The clip, said to have been taped on August 29th of this year, is eight minutes and it’s chock full of O’Donnell pitching several fits and screaming obscenities at anybody and everybody. He was really miffed that “some woman” in the control room kept talking about Labor Day plans and that it was leaking into his earpiece. O’Donnell would regain his composure enough to say his lines, but as soon as the camera cut, he was back to wild hand gestures and throwing tantrums.

It was very amusing to see O’Donnell really lose it when he heard hammering coming from somewhere in the building. He wanted that person hunted down and if no one was willing to do it, he said he would do it himself.
