Washington Post Columnist Jennifer Rubin has been a critic of the Ted Cruz-led strategy to defund Obamacare.

This morning, as the Senate was finalizing the compromise agreement, Rubin's criticism got personal. Rubin, who writes a Washington Post blog called Right Turn, compared Senator Ted Cruz to "Carlos Danger," the perverted pseudonym used by Anthony Weiner to avoid discovery during his recently revealed rash of sexting.

It started with a tweet from CNN's Brianna Keilar:

When National Review tweeted an appeal for party unity Rubin went after Senator Cruz again:
