Van Jones: Trump Victory a 'Whitelash' Against Black President

"How do I explain this to my children?"

Race-baiting "former" Communist and CNN commentator Van Jones complained that Donald Trump's election victory "was a white-lash against a changing country."

As it became clear Tuesday evening that a Trump victory was impending, Jones congratulated the Trump supporters among his fellow CNN panelists, then melodramatically expressed the fear he believes many parents in America will live with now.

“You tell your kids, don’t be a bully. You tell your kids, don’t be a bigot. You tell your kids, do your homework and be prepared. Then you have this outcome, and you have people putting children to bed tonight. They’re afraid of breakfast. They’re afraid of ‘How do I explain this to my children?’”

Well, you explain to them that Trump is the result of 50 million ordinary Americans rising up against an incompetent and corrupt political establishment, against a blatantly biased news media that tried to shove the most corrupt politician in American history down our throats for the sake of "an historic first," and against the cultural elites who treat them like stupid racists -- which Van Jones then proceeded to do.

“I have Muslim friends who are texting me tonight saying, ‘Should I leave the country?’ I have families of immigrants that are terrified tonight.” Well Van, maybe they wouldn't be terrified if they were here legally.

“This was a whitelash,” he said. “This was a whitelash against a changing country. It was a whitelash against a black president in part, and that’s the part where the pain comes."

"I know there's more to it than race," Jones conceded brusquely, but he insisted we cannot ignore the racial element. No, Van, YOU cannot ignore pushing the racism narrative because that's all the radical left has: division and control through identity politics. And the time for identity politics is over.
