Tolerant Chelsea Handler Insults Melania Trump: ‘She Can Barely Speak English

Won’t have the first lady on her show because what would there be to talk about?

Chelsea Handler was interviewed by Variety magazine shortly after leading a Women’s March at the Sundance Film Festival and said something very hateful about First Lady Melania Trump.

Proving herself not to be the beacon of tolerance she’d like to think she is, Handler insulted the first lady as an immigrant.

Handler was asked if she would ever have President Trump on her show (of course not) and if not him, would she consider Melania:

“No! Melania? What’s to talk about? What? She can barely speak English!”

Handler was then asked to describe her views of Melania as the First Lady:

“Exactly what I think about him as the first man: nothing! I don’t respect either one of those people.”

We’re sure the feeling is mutual.

Handler went on to say the most important issue to her under the Trump administration is “racism” — yeah, really — and keeping abortions and birth control flowing with Planned Parenthood.

Ironically, Handler said she was inspired by her participation in the women’s rights march and pledged to “love on the people I don’t like.”

“That’s how inspired I am,” she added. “I’m going to be nice, and reach out, and be good to the people I don’t have interests in.”

Try again, Chelsea.
