The CW’s Supergirl has been nothing if not a vehicle for leftist propaganda, and the November 6th installment is no exception.

During this third season alone, the show has covered issues such as LGBT matters, immigration, and white supremacy, all with an extremely anti-conservative slant. This week's edition takes the program's political commentary to a new level of direct application to the real world, albeit with inaccuracy strong enough to leap tall buildings in a single bound.   

Monday night’s episode, titled “Damage,” sees CEO Lena Luthor accused by Trump-clone Morgan Edge of having poisoned the city. When children become victims of the toxicity, parents demand that someone be held accountable. As an investigation follows, Luthor -- a woman of great dignity -- takes the high road and steps down from her position temporarily. During a press conference to announce her relinquishment of office, an angry and irrational crowd is overwhelmed by lynch-mob mentality, chanting a familiar phrase:

Lena: I want your best reporter reporting this. I'm not hiding anything. Set a press conference for later today. 

[Protesters chanting]: Lock her up! Lock her up! Lock her up! Lock her up! 

James: It's time, Ms. Luthor. 

[Chanting continues]: Lock her up! Lock her up!

At the end of the episode, Lena Luthor is, of course, vindicated.

So what is the takeaway? In The CW's view, “Lock her up” is something irrational, bloodthirsty crowds chant at innocent people of flawless integrity.    

Nice try, Supergirl. But in our universe, “Lock her up” is reserved for deserving miscreants like Hillary Clinton. Villains such as she do things like intimidate rape victims, establish phony foundations in order to accept political bribes, and rig electoral nominations.
