Sharpton: Issa's Apology to Cummings Is Not Good Enough

Sharpton called Issa's cutting off of Cumming's microphone disrespectful and partisan.

Al Sharpton exclaimed on his Friday edition of Politics Nation that Rep. Darrell Issa's apology to Rep. Elijah Cummings for cutting off his microphone after former IRS employee, refused to testify and pled the fifth was not enough. The hotly emotional and almost humorous interaction between Issa and Cummings took social media by storm and many news outlets picked up the video and audio.

Sharpton called the California Republican's cutting of Cummings' microphone disrespectful and partisan. On Thursday Issa called the Maryland Democrat personally and apologized for not being more "sensitive" to his colleague. But for Sharpton the apology to Cummings was not enough.

But Congressman Issa has a lot more to apologize for. Shouldn't he apologize for leading the charge to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt? Shouldn't he say 'sorry' for cherry picking information to make it look like the healthcare website wasn't safe to use? Or shouldn't he apologize for spending 14 million dollars of tax payer money on this bogus investigation into the IRS? Yes he should.
