Whether it comes to Obamatrade, Obamacare, same-sex marriage, Benghazi or the Keystone XL Pipeline, never has Hillary Clinton’s double-speak been more glaringly apparent. Obviously, the Democratic presidential contender is attempting to distance herself from President Obama. So, what does the administration think of all this? Well, apparently what they’ve always thought about the Clintons – namely that they are “inauthentic” and “maddening” and only interested in what is politically expedient.
New York Times reporter Jeremy Peters, who discussed Clinton’s most recent string of flip-flops with senior Obama White House officials, told MSNBC’s Morning Joe that there is definitely “frustration inside [the] Obama administration” over the former Secretary of State’s actions.
Administration officials claim that Clinton often takes positions she does not believe in simply to further her own political agenda.
“This is everything they [Obama officials] always found so frustrating, maddening about the Clintons,” Peters explained. “It is this kind of inauthenticity, this very careful political calculation… the ‘I was for it before I was against it [positions].’”
Even Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinksi had to cede that Clinton seems to say whatever it will take to get elected.
You think?
