Sharpton Gets More Free Air Time To Promote Personal Conference

For the third time in less than a week Al Sharpton used his free air time on MSNBC to promote his National Action Network Conference

On his MSNBC show, Al Sharpton turned a segment about Rep. Paul Ryan's (R-WI) budget into a promotion for his National Action Network conference in New York City that starts Wednesday. This is not the first time Sharpton has used free air time during his MSNBC show to promote his non-profit and his conference, which includes Democrats such as Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-NY),  NYC's very liberal Mayor Bill de Blasio and featured speaker President Barack Obama.

Talking about how unfair and "cruel" he thinks Ryan's proposed budget is for poor people, Sharpton said:

We'll be addressing the question of economic justice and fairness in this country at my civil right's organization's convention, the National Action Network that starts tomorrow. We'll be talkin' about jobs and much more. President Obama will be one of the speakers!

Sharpton once again showed an image of some of the details of his event, but he has never mentioned the cost of tickets on air and the price is not disclosed to the public.
