Tuesday morning, TruthRevolt founder Ben Shapiro appeared on Fox & Friends to discuss the latest "True Blood" episode that demeaned conservative values and, most especially, conservative women with quite disparaging language, including the use of the word "Republicunt".

Shapiro was not surprised by the conservative-bashing on the show, considering the show's creator, Alan Ball, has previously stated his desire to make right-wingers villains on the show, but he asserted the language they used to do it was shocking. "The only thing that was kind of shocking was the level of the language that was used, which I hadn't seen used in regards to Republican women before," Shapiro said. "If it had been used about Democratic women, of course, then we'd hear up the wazoo about the Republican 'War on Women,' but when leftists do it, then it's all the same."

So, what's the end game for "True Blood"? Why go to such lengths to bash conservatives? According to Ben Shapiro, shows like True Blood, along with the entire Hollywood elite, employ such tasteless methods to disparage conservatives so they can create a hateful emotional attitude in the hearts of their viewers toward conservatives in general. They care nothing about debating specific policy points, but rather labeling conservatives as "evil" so people won't vote for them.

Host Steve Doocy mentioned that when the History Channel mini-series "The Bible" aired, leftists complained how the character of Satan looked similar to Barack Obama and accused the show's creators of doing it intentionally even though they could provide no proof to substantiate their claims. Now a show like "True Blood" comes along that deliberately and intentionally disparages conservatives like Ted Cruz and all of a sudden they're okay with it. 

Are these tactics good for business? Shapiro doesn't think so. While Shapiro did concede that such tactics may be useful to advance one's career in a place like Hollywood where "Sunset Boulevard Socialists" bash conservatives between martini gulps, they will have tremendous negative effects on business if they keep alienating half the country. To prove his point, he cited the success of conservative outlets like Fox News that fill a tremendous gap in America's culture that leftists have ignored and even disparaged.
