According to the TIME 100 reader's poll, Bernie Sanders is the most influential person in the world, beating out Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton to take the top honor.
President Obama took fourth place, just above Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift. Michelle Obama was close to beating Swift, but could only topple Pope Francis and Leonardo DiCaprio.
And even though Clinton has the presidential lead over Sanders in the Democratic race, she fell way behind in the poll; all the way to position 25, which is down in the area of famous drag queen Panti Bliss and oddly enough, Vice President Joe Biden.
So, who had the only chance of dethroning Sanders from the top spot? These guys:
That's the South Korean boy band Big Bang. (It writes itself.)
With results like these, it's hard to figure out who the heck is reading the magazine anyway. Yet, TIME will get the final say on who really deserves this top honor:
The TIME 100 is comprised of world leaders, great minds in science and technology, outstanding figures in the arts and other icons of the moment. TIME’s editors ultimately choose the TIME 100, which will be announced April 21.
We will wait with baited breath on whom the editors believe should take that top spot. Ten-to-one it won't be a conservative!

The Freedom Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Therefore we do not endorse political candidates either in primary or general elections. However, as defenders of America’s social contract, we insist that the rules laid down by both parties at the outset of campaigns be respected, and that the results be decided by free elections. We will oppose any attempt to rig the system and deny voters of either party their constitutional right to elect candidates of their choice.
