Planned Parenthood activists attempt to claim that their motivations are purely intended to help women remain healthy and gain access to much needed medical care, but their words ring otherwise. Consider the tweet above, posted by the Planned Parenthood Action Fund. The words were taken from a misguided opinion piece published last week on the blog, Fusion that touts the ease with which abortion is attained in countries like the U.K. as opposed to the United States. 

The author, a self-described feminist, dedicates paragraph after paragraph to praising the British health care system for making abortion procedures as easy and "non-judgemental" as possible. 

Living in the UK, I’ve learned what it feels like when free, unimpeded access reproductive health is considered my basic human right. So to the American feminists fighting this battle across the pond, take it from me: You shouldn’t be settling for anything less.

The author, an American who recently gained British citizenship, laments how the "highest court" in her birth-country is pondering "whether to give the archaic whims of a tiny slice of religious objectors more influence than laws passed by the democratically-elected government."

What feminists like the author of this article fail to note, however, is that abortion and contraception are as easily attainable in the U.S. as they are in the U.K. What's more, the medical care in the U.S. when it comes to women's health procedures is far superior to that offered via the U.K.'s national health system. 

Feminists and Planned Parenthood activists continue to incite hysteria among women and co-opt an entire political narrative by peddling the lie that the U.S. is run by Puritans who'd sooner burn a woman at the stake than offer her a birth control pill. Honestly, where in this country is a woman denied contraception or an abortion within the term-limits if she so chooses to have one?

The hyperbole continues with every presidential election has GOP candidates are pegged by the left as the president who will banish women to the days of backroom abortions -- yet no president even has that authority. And if it comes to a president choosing Supreme Court Justices, not even Evangelical Christian former President George W. Bush tapped a conservative justice who would work to dismantle Roe v. Wade. Still, this is the narrative the left uses to sway less-informed voters. 

Abortion is, at the end of the day, an unfortunate reality of life. The issue is not its legality, but in its glorification in a twisted society. 

What liberals fail to recognize is that there is a substantial difference between being pro-choice, and being pro-abortion, as are many Planned Parenthood and feminist zealots.
