As Breitbart’s John Nolte pointed out, CNN’s Piers Morgan tweeted out a fake Daily Currant story Wednesday belittling Sarah Palin, without telling his followers that the story was a satirical joke.

Morgan tweeted “And she’s back!” and linked to the story. No context, no explanation that it was a fake, satirical piece.

The Daily Currant mock news piece claims Sarah Palin stated on Fox and Friends Wednesday that “Jesus Christ celebrated Easter during his time on Earth.” The story was of course untrue, as the Daily Currant is a satiric site. Piers Morgan either knew this and tweeted the story out as if it were true anyhow, or was too irresponsible to actually look up the self-described “Global Satirical Newspaper of Record.”

A few other faux articles on the site today: “Obamacare Website Accidentally Enrolls Thousands in Sex Offender Registry” and “Nancy Grace Arrested for Murder.” Maybe Morgan should share those with his millions of followers too.
