Campus Reform has blessed us with another video that showcases the innate bias of the Left and the wholesale lack of knowledge of our political system they exhibit, especially among college students.

CR’s Cabot Phillips went to John Jay College in New York City to get reaction to some quotes from President Trump’s State of the Union address. Predictably, the anti-Trumpers were quick to criticize him on issues ranging from ISIS to China. But to their utter shock, Phillips revealed they were actually bashing things said by former President Barack Obama.

Surprisingly, once faced with their own inconsistencies, some of the students easily admitted they've been too easily swayed by the media:

“Yeah, I do think there’s a bias.”

“I guess, uh, bias is really bad in general. Just ‘cause you don’t agree with it, doesn’t mean it’s not right.”

“I am definitely not a huge fan of [Trump], however, I think, you know, being close-minded is probably more dangerous than anything he could do.”

“Some people are quick to, like, judge on Donald Trump just because of a few things he say [sic]. But I think, like, if they paid attention to his whole presidency, like, maybe they’ll, like, have like a better, um, like, you know, outlook on him and a better, like, you know, perspective in general.”

What she said.

In the end, one of the interviewed put the onus on the people to stop believing everything they hear on the news and do some personal research -- SHOCKER:

“Unfortunately, a lot of times what you hear is tainted by bias and you really can’t go off that. So, do your own research, educate yourself. It’s your duty. It’s, you know, the future of the country.”
