The media is at war with President Trump and that is reflected in its relentlessly negative coverage of this administration.

According to research by Newsbusters, coverage of the president across ABC, CBS, and NBC evening news for the months of September, October, and November “was more than 90 percent negative.” 

“Our methodology counts only explicitly evaluative statements from reporters or non-partisan sources,” the outlet stated.

Broken down month-by-month across all three news networks, September saw only 31 positive statements about Trump compared to 359 negative. For October, the networks were feeling a little generous, giving Trump 41 positive statements, but ramped up the negativity to 435. As for November, the rhetoric turned to Roy Moore, dropping Trump back down to just 33 positive statements and 320 negative statements. 

That’s a grand total of 91% negative coverage — the same amount discovered in Newsbusters research during June, July, and August. Surprise!

Like the precipitation in the Christmas song Let It Snow, the anti-Trump press shows no signs of stopping.
