MSNBC Slams Trump’s Use of Teleprompter: Can’t ‘Speak from the Heart’

They were totally fine when Obama did it, though.

Donald Trump may have won the presidency, but he can never win with the press. Not even giving a second public condemnation of the violent protests in Charlottesville is enough to appease the unsatisfied, bloodthirsty media.

On MSNBC Monday, anchor Katy Tur was joined by David Jolly, Harold Ford, and Marc Morial in a roundtable flogging of the president because he didn’t jump when they said to. Jolly complained that though the president said the right things today, it would’ve been better if he had said them earlier. (He did.) And all agreed that he should not have used a script and a teleprompter, because they know best, especially Tur:

“This is a man who railed against the use of teleprompter repeatedly on the campaign trail. I found it notably that he had to read pretty carefully, these scripted words, and that this was not something he could speak extemporaneously about, that he could speak from the heart about.”

Yes, because when Obama went of teleprompter, it went so well:
