The word “Ottawa” has been one of the hottest words across the Internet for the last 24 hours since the terrorist shooting at the Parliament building, which took the life of a Canadian soldier.

But this morning, during a highly emotional standing ovation given to Kevin Vickers, the hero Sergeant-at-Arms who killed the gunman, MSNBC decided to botch the spelling of the Canadian capital, and spelled it “Ottowa” instead of "Ottawa."
