On Morning Joe today, Donny Deutsch once again demonstrated why he fits in so well at the network known for gaffes, slips of the tongue, and every kind of foot in mouth disease known to man. In this case, Deutsch was discussing the Secret Service's troubles and whether Julie Pierson is indeed the best person to be running the show. He then made a very poor choice of words that, had they been uttered by Bill O'Reilly, would have lefties on Twitter mocking endlessly and conjecturing about Freud. 

"We need to be careful, though, that we are never ever throwing the baby out with the bath water, as far as, the best person always has to get the job. And Mika, as we kind of go through her resume, you go, obviously coming off the prostitute scandal, OK, yeah, woman on top makes sense. Good for the brand if you will."

We won't invoke Freud, but a Simpsons reference might do: just call it a "Morning D'oh!"
