A Missouri state Democrat wants President Trump dead and went public with her wishes.
Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal wrote on Facebook, “I hope Trump is assassinated,” before deleting the comment. She told The Kansas City Star that she posted the message because she felt the president is causing “trauma and despair” following his comments about Confederate statues and blaming both fringes of the Left and Right for stirring up violence.
“On my personal Facebook, I put up a statement saying, ‘I really hate Trump. He’s causing trauma and nightmares.’ That was my original post,” Chappelle-Nadal explained. “A whole bunch of people responded to that.”
And to one of those people she responded with her assassination request, which she later deleted.
“The way I responded this morning was wrong,” the state senator later admitted. “I’m frustrated. Did I mean the statement? No. Am I frustrated? Absolutely. The president is causing damage. He’s causing hate.”
Again, she apologized, “It was wrong for me to post that, but I am not going to shy away from the damage this president is causing.”
Here we have another violent leftist, and even though Chappelle-Nadal hasn’t donned the black mask of Antifa and swung a billy club, her ideas were on display on the streets of Charlottesville this last weekend.
