Meghan McCain Levels Joy Behar for Saying, ‘I’m Offended by Republicans’

Working on The View is clearly as insufferable as watching the show. To have to sit and hear the incessant whining of a table full of Trump haters must be exhausting. Republican host Meghan McCain is often a target at the table and on Friday, left-wing lunatic Joy Behar unleashed an angry McCain who quickly put Behar in her place. Watching her squirm is a real treat.

The topic of the moment was White House aide Rob Porter who has been accused of domestic violence. Of course, Behar doesn’t blame Porter himself for beating his wife. That’s the Republican Party’s fault, obvs.

Behar expressed her ire through humor by mocking White House Chief of Staff John Kelly who said he was “shocked” by the revelation of Porter. Her sarcasm caused the audience to burst into laughter.

McCain went straight for Behar’s throat, chiding her for making light of this situation, “We shouldn’t make [light] of this. We’re talking about the abuse of a woman. I mean look at that photo. We should not be laughing, or making fun.”

A photo of Porter’s wife with black eyes has been released to the public.

Behar’s claws came out as she pointed right at McCain, “We’re talking about Kelly, we’re not talking about abuse right now. Don’t say something like that!”

McCain scolded Behar for lumping all Republicans in one pot and blaming them for this battery: “As a Republican I am offended.”

“As a Democrat, I’m offended by Republicans,” Behar shouted back childishly.

Sunny Hostin intervened in the cat fight and tried to bring order. It worked for a few minutes but McCain and Behar were back at it later because Behar couldn’t stop complaining about Republicans long enough to feel bad about a battered woman:

MCCAIN: You're offended by Republicans. So all Republicans, probably everywhere, offended by me sitting here because I'm a Republican.

BEHAR: I’m offended by a party that backs a racist.

MCCAIN: Oh, my God.

BEHAR: Oh, come on, Meghan. Seventy-two percent of the Republican Party thinks he’s a good role model.

MCCAIN: I’m actually going on the Van Jones show on Saturday and I was actually looking forward to talking about this in a way that is respectful and not being told that just because I’m a Republican I’m offending you. We are not going to move the  needle one way or the other just throwing out platitudes and hubris like that, and I would like to have a real conversation about it.

BEHAR: Oh, really? Oh, really? We’ll see.

The leftist host plugged her ears and kept screaming “racist” Trump. Then, McCain reminded Behar that her father, Sen. John McCain, has also been accused of being racist, and Jeb Bush, too.

“Your father is not in the Republican Party of today, darling,” Behar said. “Those people are not in the Republican Party of today.”

“Well, I look forward to having this conversation with Van Jones on Saturday,” McCain said.

“Good,” exclaimed Behar.

And that’s why talking to leftists is as effective as talking to a brick wall. Watch the feisty exchange below:
