Mitch McConnell just received an A+ and a big endorsement from the NRA for his tough stance against Obama and Michael Bloomberg in defending the second amendment rights of American citizens.
“The true measure of leadership and courage comes during moments of adversity and Leader McConnell has stood steadfast with America’s law-abiding gun owners during the most trying of times,” said Chris W. Cox, chairman of the NRA Political Victory Fund. “He has fought against sweeping gun and ammo bans and supported substantive efforts that rightfully place the burden of our justice system on violent criminals.”
The endorsement will undoubtedly give him another boost in his campaign where he leads democratic challenger, Alison Lundergan Grimes by 5 points.
“I am honored to stand with the NRA as we continue fighting on behalf of Kentucky’s gun owners to ensure that the Obama-liberals will never limit our Constitutional Right to Keep and Bear Arms,” McConnell said in an emailed statement.
