Maxine Waters Gets Weird on Twitter, Attacks Fox News for No Reason

Is she okay?

After Democrat Doug Jones won the Senate race in Alabama Tuesday night, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) felt like rubbing the victory in somebody’s face and chose to lash out at Fox News for some unknown reason.

“Fox News, why are you so damn quiet now?” she said in the late-night tweet. “Knowing everything, lying on everybody, bullying everybody, claiming to be holy, righteous and loving America more than anybody else. Speak up now - admit you just got your butt kicked royally and MORE to come.”

Mmmkay. Unhinged much?

What’s really odd about the tweet, as The Washington Free Beacon pointed out, is that Fox News wasn’t quiet at all during its election coverage:

[T]he news network called the election for Jones over 45 minutes before her tweet and tuned into the entirety of Jones' victory speech. At the time of Waters' tweet, Fox News host Shannon Bream was talking to Alabama's Republican secretary of state, John Merrill, about the certification process for Jones to officially become a senator.

Maybe she has thought about impeachment so much it’s affecting her brain. But the California congresswoman is much more concerned about Trump’s health than her own, as evidenced by the tweet just prior to her Fox News rant:

Yes, CNN breathlessly reported this week the potential dangers of Trump downing 12 Diet Cokes every day. (They found none, by the way.) Wonder why Waters never called out President Obama’s unhealthy habits?
