Among the leftist pathologies is the protocol that multiculturalism always trumps feminism, which is why there is such deafening silence among Western feminists about Islamic misogyny. Feminists who screech about patriarchy and the "rape culture" in the West turn a blind eye when women are victimized by Muslim sexual predators, such as the horrifying Muslim "grooming gangs" in England which abused, by one account, anywhere from 100,000 to 1,000,000 girls, mostly white and English, across the UK since 1988.

So it's shameful but predictable that British singer Lily Allen, a pro-mass migration activist and self-proclaimed feminist, recently tweeted the casual claim that those victims likely would have been “raped or abused by somebody else at some point” even if the Muslim grooming gangs didn't exist.

“Actually, there’s a strong possibility they would have been raped and abused by somebody else at some point. That’s kind of the issue,” she tweeted, after a user asked her if the young victims would have been abused if the perpetrators had not been allowed into the country.

In the wake of blowback for this dismissive comment, she deleted the messages, made her account private, and issued an equally casual apology:

“If there are any victims of abuse and particularly any girls or women from Rochdale who saw my tweet and were negatively impacted, I apologize, of course. Being able to accept responsibility and apologize is a strength, not a weakness."

According to Breitbart, Allen also claimed, in a Twitter thread about Muslim rape gangs and immigration, that “Type 2 Rapists” are 100 per cent “British white males,” describing them as “men that have sex with their stepdaughters twice a week for years at a time … neighbors, uncles, gardeners, priests, fast food restaurant managers that do it over and over again.”

Breitbart notes that "recent research by counter-extremism think tank Quilliam found that 84 per cent of grooming gang members are of ‘Asian’ origin." In British media-speak, "Asian" refers to Southeast Asian Muslims.

But for Lily Allen and other Progressives, Muslims get a pass and white males are the problem.
