Recently, when news broke that the Secret Service was protecting not only President Trump, Melania, and Barron Trump, but also his adult children Donald Jr., Eric, Ivanka and Tiffany, people were upset at the use of taxpayer money.

Another Twitter user wrote, "Adult children of the President & Vice President can decline secret service protection​. We are paying for Trump's sons business trips." Yet another tweeted, "Trump adult children can turn down Secret Service Protection. Why don't they?" And another asked, "Why r Trump's grown children getting taxpayer-funded limousines while doing business overseas? Why do they get Secret Service protection?"

But Former First Daughter Chelsea decided to stick up for the Trump family, when reporter Yashar Ali asked, “Some say Trump kids shouldn’t have Secret Service. Do you not care about nat sec crisis that would arise if 1 of them was kidnapped/hurt?” She responded this way:

Of course, Chelsea and Ivanka are good friends, but nevertheless, credit where credit is due to Chelsea for publicly standing up to her party's attacks on the Trump family for once.
