Kid Rock Not Running for Senate

"F--- no, I’m not running for Senate. Are you kidding me?"

Any Michiganders that were hoping to vote for Kid Rock to represent them in the Senate are going to be disappointed. He has confirmed today on Howard Stern's radio show that he will not be running, putting rumors to rest.

"F*** no, I'm not running for Senate," he said, according to The Detroit Free Press"Who couldn't figure that out? I'm releasing a new album. I'm going on tour, too. Are you f***ing sh*tting me?"

Kid Rock has publicly talked about — and milked — the idea for months, and said it gave him a chance to see "everyone's true colors." He added, "As soon as I said, 'I don't know, maybe (I'll run), everyone goes: 'He's the Klan wizard, he's homophobic, he's Islamophobic.'"

Rock laughed off all the attention: “I’m like, this is kind of fun."

Even though he performed at Barack Obama's inauguration, Kid Rock doesn’t think much of the former president. But as for the current president: “Trump is the f***ing sh*t!” That alone would've been enough for him to run on and, quite possibly, win. But sorry, America, it looks like Senator Rock won't be sworn in anytime soon.
