Jon Stewart Mocks Hillary Clinton Media Frenzy

Wednesday night, Jon Stewart of Comedy Central's The Daily Show had a little fun addressing all the ridiculous media hype surrounding potential 2016 candidate Hillary Clinton's book tour for Hard Choices.

One of the more egregious gaffes Stewart noted was CNN and Fox News' penchant for using the word "exclusive" to advertise the upcoming interview. If the interview was supposed to be "exclusive," how did virtually every news outlet in the country already interview the author?

Stewart highlighted the absurd attempts CNN made to build hype for their upcoming interview with Clinton by conducting a full walkthrough of the empty studio where it will take place and describing which chairs people will be sitting in as if they were anticipating a world peace summit.

After a merciless assault on the already-struggling network's desperate attempts to boost ratings, Stewart opened an old wound by presenting CNN with the missing Malaysia Airlines flight; a gift-wrapped toy plane.
